The Unilogik team is looking for a seasoned Solutions Architect to join us in supporting clients across Canada.
The Account Solutions Architect will be responsible for driving and managing the technology evaluation of customers environments while providing technical guidance and support throughout the entire sales cycle. Engage with customers to understand the business outcomes they are working to achieve while focusing on finding the right technical solution for their needs. The Account Solutions Architect will be in a leading customer-facing role, working alongside and in support of the sales and partner teams.
The Account Solutions Architect will discover and analyze our customers’ business and technical needs and collaborate with the sales and technical delivery teams to help customers invest wisely in the right solutions. Continue to strengthen technical skills through mentorship, learning, and internal training programs.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting. Candidates must have a strong level of proficiency in technology solutions to measurable business value. Should also have a demonstrated skill to think strategically about business, products, and technical problems
Engage with customers, both onsite and remote, in a technical consultancy and advisor role during the pre-sales process
Provide customers with technical assistance and solution guidance.
In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy.
Build deep relationships with people within customer environments.
Serve as the customer advocate for other Unilogik teams, including Sales, Services, and Marketing.
Continuously improve your professional skills through activities such as training programs, reading and mentorship learning.
Maintain specialty competency in one or more technologies related to Unilogik’s market focus through activities such as training, certification.
In collaboration with marketing, sales, and consulting colleagues, identify RFP's/RFI’s as required as part of the overall sales motion
Requirements
Proven track record in technical pre-sales or technical consultancy as a professional in the field of information technology
Exceptional technical presentation and communication skills
Ability to interpret customers’ business and technical needs
Demonstrated experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and cross- functional teams (e.g. product management and marketing)
Understanding of complex enterprise solutions and architectures
Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle
Experience with modern software development or operations and their associated technologies
Experience with cloud computing and related technologies and practices
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment
Willingness to travel across Canada
Technical Experience:
One or more certifications, e.g. Solutions Architect Associate or equivalent experience would be an asset
Experience with emerging technologies like public or private cloud, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Services (PaaS), Linux Containers, container orchestration and management, automation and configuration management, DevOps and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), or modern application frameworks
Knowledge of Chef, Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack, CloudFormation, or Terraform for configuration management
Knowledge of IP networking at scale, firewall and VPN architectures, DNS, and service delivery through load balancing techniques
Troubleshooting skills in multiple popular languages, e.g. Python, Bash, Golang, C, and Java
Experience with waterfall, Agile (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.) and able to discuss workflows for different software development processes
Experience with modern development practices strongly preferred, including Kubernetes, Docker, Package Management, Application Security (SAST, DAST), Cloud infrastructure, and serverless
Deep knowledge of software development lifecycle
Software development experience
Understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and cloud-native technology
